Tyson Fury, the key factor in making a title fight between Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz a reality

After holding the heavyweight world championship by surprising Anthony Joshua, Andy Ruiz could finally have a new opportunity to fight for the title, after the World Boxing Council (WBC) could order the fight to open an opportunity for the ‘Destroyer’, this fight could be against Deontay Wilder.
Fury says he’s the best fighter of his generation and slams “sore loser” Wilder
Andy Ruiz could contend for the WBC interim title, a fact that is not confirmed, according to World Boxing News, and that only depends on an event to become a reality.
Meanwhile, Andy Ruiz will fight next September against Luis Ortiz, in his return to the ring after 1 year of inactivity, when he defeated Chris Arreola in May 2021, by unanimous decision.
What does Tyson Fury have to do with it?
According to reports from ‘World Boxing News’, the WBC could order a fight between the ‘Destroyer’ and Deontay Wilder for his interim title and it depends on Tyson Fury: if ‘Gipsy King’ does not announce a fight to expose his scepter by October at the latest, the WBC will order a fight between Ruiz and Wilder.
This is because after defeating Dillian Whyte, Tyson Fury announced his retirement, as he considers that he has won everything and has no attractive opponent at the door. However, when asked if his retirement is definitive, he has limited himself to answer that he would come back for a big purse, but nothing more.
