Conor McGregor And Floyd Mayweather Set For HUGE Rematch after claims Money Fight round two could be worth…

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor are ‘very close’ to finalising a deal for their big-money rematch, it has been reported.

Boxing icon Mayweather and MMA legend McGregor locked horns back in August 2017 in a professional bout, with the American emerging victorious by technical knockout in the tenth round.
The showdown was dubbed ‘The Money Fight’ , banking the second highest pay-per-view figures in the sport, and with Mayweather making an enormous $275million, while McGregor came away with around $100m.
And The Sun claim a rematch is close to being sorted, with ‘Money’ willing to put his unbeaten 50-0 record on the line.

The report adds the fight will be at 155lbs, meaning the Irishman will need to shed some weight as he’s believed to be weighed at approximately at 190 pounds currently.
“Connor will only take the fight providing Floyd is willing to put his professional record on the line – so the fight will not be an exhibition, it will be an official fight,” The Sun’s source added.

“It will be at 155lb. That’s what we know so far.
“It will be the last time Floyd ever steps in the ring, so it is not one to miss.
“The deal is very close to being done. Personal terms have been agreed on both parties.
“It will be one final show down. And, yes, records will be at stake.
“Floyd sees it as the end of the Mayweather era and the beginning of the Gervonta Davis era.
“He believes it will be the biggest night boxing will have ever seen and has been saying ‘People best be ready because it’s going to be something spectacular’.

“There are arguments about the rounds at the moment with Connor’s team wanting ten rounds, but the deal and rights are certainly getting there.”
It was rumoured in June that the two sporting legends were in talks over a potential rematch that could be worth a staggering $1billion [around £830m].

UFC legend McGregor then took on Instagram to claim that the deal could already be done, sharing a photo from their first fight in June 2017, captioned: “I accept”.
Mayweather’s last professional boxing match came against McGregor, however, he’s fought in a series of exhibition bouts since, including against YouTuber Logan Paul.
Meanwhile, McGregor hasn’t fought for over a year after breaking his leg in a defeat to UFC star Dustin Poirier.
