Coach Patrick Mouratoglou has built “the ultimate tennis GOAT” and the player he built has several attributes of the Big Three – Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. 20-time Grand Slam champion Federer was mentioned three times as Mouratoglou said his ultimate GOAT would have the Swiss’ overall talent, volley and footwork (North/South).
Nadal, a record 22-time Grand Slam champion, heard his name pronounced twice by Mouratoglou as the French coach revealed his ultimate GOAT would have the Spaniard’s fighting spirit and tenacity. Djokovic, who lifted his 21st Grand Slam title at this past Wimbledon, was also mentioned three times as Mouratoglou added the Serb’s return, backhand and athleticism to his ultimate GOAT.
Also, Mouratoglou revealed his ultimate GOAT would have Nick Kyrgios’ serve, Stefanos Tsitsipas’ forehand and Daniil Medvedev’s movement (East/West).

Nadal has won two Grand Slams this year, Djokovic’s lone Grand Slam victory this season came at Wimbledon, while Federer has yet to play in 2022.
Giving his thoughts on what’s to come, Mouratoglou suggested Djokovic might be the Big Three who has the best shot at achieving more Grand Slam success. “Rafael Nadal is playing some of the best tennis of his life, recently beating Novak in the quarters of the French Open, but he still struggles a lot with his injuries,” Mouratoglou said in a video posted on his Instagram.
“Novak is the youngest of the three and is in great physical condition. So he has a chance of playing at the highest level for a few more years, however, he might be unable to compete at the next two Slams – at the US Open and the Australian Open – means his next shot at a title may be in Rafa’s house at the French Open next year.
Roger turns 41 soon and is planning to return to competition at the Laver Cup and the Swiss Indoors in Basel. It will be incredible to see him back on court but to see him win another Major is highly unlikely.”
