Co-Parenting: Will Smith’s ex-wife: We’ve bumped heads and it wasn’t pretty
At a time when he has been a trending topic for reasons he would prefer not to be, Will Smith’s ex-wife, Sheree Zampino, has commented that co-parenting with him has seen them had their run-ins.
Will Smith has been back in the spotlight lately. First for posting a video on his YouTube channel apologising to Chris Rock for his overreaction and subsequent slap in the face for the latter’s joke at his wife’s expense.
Then, the comedian came out saying that he didn’t accept the apology and that many people wanted to play the victim.
Now, even though the actor said he wanted to keep his family out of it, the whole situation is splashed all over the place. Smith’s ex-wife, Sheree Zampino, has joined a reality show called The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and it didn’t take long for some interesting comments to crop up.
Clash of personalities
In a previous interview, Zampino has said the relationship she has with Will and his wife hasn’t always been as perfect as it seems.
“You got three different dynamics, three different personalities and different belief systems, different way of doing things,” Zampino told the Behind the Velvet podcast.
“And there were times we have bumped heads and it hasn’t been pretty.
“But listen, we get back on that horse and we press on. We do what we have to do because again, at the end of the day, it’s about the kids.”
Despite that, Sheree says their relationship is generally good, especially with Jada because she’s always been like a second mother to Trey, the son she has with Will Smith.
She also said that she won’t be asking Will and Jada to tune in to watch her upcoming reality appearance, partly because she only features briefly.
“I don’t know how I feel about sending a text to Will and Jada saying, ‘I’m gonna be on the show about four minutes, can you watch the whole 44?'” said Zampino.
“I don’t feel called to do that.”
