NBA superstar Stephen Curry is one of the best players to ever play the game of basketball. And he is one of the best shooter the league has ever seen. Over the years, Curry has helped the Warriors to 4 NBA titles. His family has been with him throughout his career. And most importantly, his wife Ayesha Curry has been with him through thick and thin.
Now, the couple is celebrating 11 beautiful years of marriage. Stephen Curry took to Instagram to show his love for Ayesha. He wrote, “11. My Ish! Loving this journey with you more and more. Already blessed in so many ways and who knows what’s next. That’s the best part! through it all- we keep growing and loving each other. Next chapter begins… I Love You! > < 1 Corinthians 13:8” The couple first met in 2003 while attending the same church. At the time, the Warriors star was just 15 and Ayesha was 14. However, they would reconnect several years later in 2008. They met in Los Angeles where Ayesha had moved to model and act. Stephen Curry and Ayesha started dating in 2008 When they met in 2008 in Los Angeles, Stephen Curry was there for the ESPYs. Notably, he won the Breakout Athlete of the Year award. Funnily enough, his future wife didn’t even know what the ESPYs were. She also had a “no athletes” policy when it came to dating. Then in the same year, they went on their first date. Ayesha once said that Curry impressed her on the first date. She said, “He was so funny and silly. The absolute opposite of what I thought he was going to be.” Fast forward to July 2010, Stephen Curry proposed to Ayesha in the middle of her parent’s driveway where they kissed for the first time. The couple married on July 30, 2011, in the presence of friends and family. They welcomed their first child, Riley Elizabeth, in July 2012. Then in 2015, the couple welcomed their second child, Ryan Carson. After 3 years, the family grew as they welcomed their third child, Canon W. Jack Curry. Stephen Curry and Ayesha have been on each other’s side throughout the years. Now as a family of 5, their bond is stronger than ever.
