One of the most influential people in Golf right now is Paige Spiranac, the athlete recently gave her opinion about Tiger Woods’ rejection to play LIV Golf.
A few days ago it was known that Tiger Woods rejected an offer ranging between 700 and 800 million dollars to join LIV Golf.
Spiranac tweeted.
“That’s ‘F you’ money. That’s money to buy an island. But Tiger said, ‘You know what, no thanks,'” Spiranac said.
“Maybe it’s because he already has so much money he doesn’t know what to do with it. Maybe he wants to protect his legacy. With a limited schedule, maybe his body can’t play as much. Maybe he wants to be Ryder Cup captain.
“If that check, $800 million, is in front of your face, no matter how good a person you are, it’s going to be hard to turn down.”
