Wilder was last seen in the ring on October 9, 2021, when he faced Fury at the T-Mobile Arena for the third fight of their iconic trilogy. Moreover, he was fighting for the WBC and the Ring heavyweight titles.

It was recently reported that he is finalizing a deal with Robert Helenius for a showdown on October 15. Additionally, it is also said that the fight will take place at the Barclays Center.
