They wanted to destroy him, Says Djokovic’s father about his…

Unfortunately, Novak Djokovic went through an incredibly tough time last January when he tried to enter the Australian soil to play the first major of the year. Novak was under the impression that he had a valid exemption to enter Australia even if he was not vaccinated for the coronavirus. Unfortunately, things went really South and the former world number 1 had to be back in Serbia after being even detained in a special center.

During a recent interview with K1 TV, Novak Djokovic’s father, Srdjan, hit out at the Australian authorities saying that they wanted to destroy his son.

“They wanted to break him and destroy him, to show through him that they can do whatever they want. While he was flying on a plane between Dubai and Melbourne, they changed the law. Australia was responsible. The situation is the same now. I don’t know if it will change,” he said.
